In terms of volume, Capital One is one of the top lenders in this market in the U.S. with $48 billion outstanding loans by the end of 2016.

Capital One was also a major player in the home mortgage market. It had $21 billion worth of home loans yet to be paid at the end of 2016. However, the company left this field in later 2017, laying of 1,100 workers.

Commercial Banking

For commercial clients, Capital One provides commercial lending services, corporate cards, wealth management services, treasury management and even private banking services.

The company also provides a variety of specialty services in specific industries such as:

    Bad customer service in overseas communication

    I had him to stop payment on a check and they put in a claim came back and denied my stop payment and told me that I had to send in all my documents on the sale the transaction of the repairs of automobile or the auto repairs and they will look into it like they know how to diagnostic problem of a car

    I have a 360 checking account they have put a frozen my account I have $3,500 in the account it through the fan man and I am not even employed and they will not let me have my money they will not tell me what’s going on all they want to do is just keep the money and they try to rip people off in their time of need Capital One 360 is the worst f****** thing I’ve ever had and will never f****** big with them again and will not

    Horrible customer service, I asked how i could lower my interest rate and they said call in once in awhile and see if its available? They dont know when its available so they will never lower your rate .

    i, am a disabled veteran , my account goes back to 2005 ING , never had a problem , until capital one took over , just recent a made an online purchase, never got the order , i file a claim and capital one diend it stating that is was a valid sale , i reached out to paypal and they want to refund me if the bank does a reverse charge but the bank refuse to.shame on them

    i, am a disabled veteran , my account goes back to 2005 ING , never had a problem , until capital one took over , just recent a made an online purchase, never got the order , i file a claim and capital one diend it stating that is was a valid sale , i reached out to paypal and they want to refund me if the bank does a reverse charge but the bank refuse to.

    Manager needs training

    I have had this account since it was ING and Capital one purchased them. I have never had a major issue with them until recently. The worst time that they Cairo’s have horrible customer service, I time when people are not working and need their money for bills to be paid. I transferred money to my capitalone account so I can zelle for bill pay. The money was transferred the 15th and should take 1-2 business days. Here we are the 20th and still my whole balance has not been transferred. I called the 800 number to get assistance and see why my money still has not been deposited. While speaking to the manager she said it takes 1-2 days to transfer the money and was not sure why my case was different. I explained they deposit 100$ shy of what I needed and asked what can be done. She told me she can escalate my issue which takes 15 business days. Like how can she be a manager, I just explained the situation and your cleared said it should be in my account. Everything I did was right and still all you can offer is additional 15 business days of investigation. To my understanding she is from this country, how can you talk like someone that has no common senses, someone that does not know the current situation of this country. I am so pissed right now.

    None of them can locate my account that was originated from ING
