Lost Credit card
I have been a loyal customer just like the rest of you, good payment history until they (Merrick) decided to become a Mastercard, now my card is frozen and there is no customer service to be had. Supposedly July 4th I was sent a new card which I have not received only to be told not sent yet, starting to hate that I even have this card. BTW Richard can’t be reached. Every is being blamed on Covid 19 except them still being paid, 45 min hold time, rude agent services and a few other issues. Where is the management team of this company

I am in the phone with this own show right now. THEY got my name wrong on my account and refuse to fix it. I sent them a copy of my driver’s license and they now day that is not enough, they want a BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!! They are a bunch if damn clowns.
7 year A+ customer is DISGUSTED!!!
Extremely disappointed, actually DISGUSTED with the actions, and then lack of communication when I was told my complaint was escalated to upper management. Let me explain:
I have been an A+ excellent credit card holder for over 7 years. High credit line, always paid on time, and plenty of usage. I received a letter on May 2nd, 2021 that my card had been cancelled due to INACTIVITY! No warning. Hello, we have been in a global pandemic and I have not used my card in about a year; my balance has been zero, is Merrick mad at me because they are not making their 28% interest? Who cancels a 7 year perfect customer for NOT using the card – and with NO WARNING! They did not even notice me with a “hey, you need to use your card in the next 30 days or we will have to close it.” Nope, nothing but a 2 sentence notification letter closing my account. So, I contacted customer service and got a supervisor who claimed to have taken notes and promised to escalate my situation to upper management. I was promised a call in 3-5 days and I am still waiting. Like I said, DISGUSTING to do this to a great customer. This effects my credit score because it now shortens my average length of credit (by my now losing an account that has been open and in good standing for over 7 years). I sure hope someone with half a brain reads this and calls me to explain. Simply horrible to do this to me (or anyone) knowing what we have all been going through!!
Dispute Resolutions
I would appreciate a call from your president, Rick Urrutia regarding a dispute on my CC 6342. I have requested a refund on services paid for ($799.00) but NOT received in October 2020 and still have not received this credit.
I continue to be put off and told this was escalated to upper management yet still NO resolution. I have been more than patient! I am a long time customer of Merrick bank and would expect better customer service!! I have consulted an attorney in this matter and trust to hear from you soon!
