Academy of Financial Literacy offers two courses which include pre-petition bankruptcy and post-petition bankruptcy. The organization issues certificates of the pre-petition and the post-petition bankruptcy via the internet once an individual completes each course. The pre-petition course requires a minimum of one hour while the post-petition course requires a minimum of two hours to complete. The aforementioned programs are meant to assist people to learn the principles of personal finance. Academy of Financial Literacy launched a book that helps you to understand some financial techniques that will be helpful to you and your family. Academy of Financial Literacy also offers a free budgeting book, a free budgeting sheet and a free debt to income ratio sheet. The books are available from the organization’s website for free.

Step 1 – Click “Forgot Login” if you cannot remember either your username or password of your online account.
Step 2 – Enter the email address you provided during registration and then click on the “Get account details” button.
An email with instructions on how to retrieve your credentials will be sent to you after a few minutes. Check your email address and follow the instructions sent.

Step 1 – Click “Pre-petition bankruptcy” to make payments online.
Note that you must first log in to your Academy of Financial Literacy online account before you can pay online. There are a number of payment options. You can pay with credit cards, debit cards, money orders and personal checks.
