It is also known as AVS, and it is a tool. This tool is mostly used within banks and of course the credit card associations. It is all about the authorization request. You know how there was a discussion here about cybersecurity, so you can refer it to be the same. So, no one else but you can request anything from your credit card, that is the authorization.
