Customer service has put me in a bad predicament , I asked them Monday the 28th of November what was my overdraft protection limit and I was told what it was 3 different times that day as I wanted to be sure and all 3 customer service reps told me the same amount I was covered for on the overdraft and I believed what they said. My check was for less than the overdraft protection amount and I then find out it was returned because of them giving me the wrong information. When I asked management to listen to all conversations on that day they told me they don’t have the ability to do that. If they don’t rectify there mistakes I will close my account and quit paying on my loans and credit cards with them as a sign of protest!

    Ridiculous!

Ridiculous, is the nicest word I can say for my latest contact with American (?) First CU. I have been with this CU since the early 1960’s just after Hill AFB came into the fold. For several days I have been attempting to get MY funds to use for a home project but I’ve been rejected because I didn’t answer “random generated” questions correctly. Hey, they are MY funds. First, randomly generated questions with random answers. Hmm? They are right but I’ve wrong? Second, a question asking me the color of a car I owned in the early 90’s. Third, one asking me what vehicles have I financed thru AFCU? Duh? I’m in my 80’s have had MANY vehicles and made MANY financial commitments, personal and business, ( 43 yrs in business) over my 63 yrs with AMFU u expect I would remember the color of or vehicles I have financed thru AMFC? Get real! Give me access to MY funds!

This credit union was at a time a great option. Lately they have gotten pretty big headed. Now they talk amongst themselves at branches using there messenger app and make fun of people. Half of the time your waiting it’s cause they are chatting amongst them selves about things other then what the visit was for. . The tellers are rude and fake .
