Access Counseling is a non-profit organization that provides personal financial education. Access Counseling focuses on the following areas, budgeting, money management and consumer credit and debt. Access Counseling offers two courses which are pre-filing credit counseling and post-filing debtor education. The two courses are available in English and Spanish and can be accessed 24/7. You can access the bankruptcy education courses online or by phone. No phone call is required if you opt for the online course. The credit counseling course is required before bankruptcy while the debtor education course is required before the court discharges your bankruptcy. The organization has been approved to issue certificates of completion of each course.

The credit counselors of Access Counseling have received extensive training in personal financial education in order to ensure customers learn about financial security. All the counselors in the organization are certified via the Center for Financial Certifications, Credit Counselor Certification or the National Association of Certified Credit.
Access Counseling also has a portal of the attorney available on their website. The portal is easy to use and this enables you to save time by focusing on helping your clients. The attorney portal has a progress monitor that enables you to track the progress of the course for each of your clients. The ability to check how far a client is in the first course or the second course save you time when processing a bankruptcy. The attorney portal also allows you to easily print clients’ certificates by simply logging in to your account, search the client and then print. In addition, the attorney portal has attorney pads which is a popular feature available for free.
HOW TO LOGIN
Step 1 – Click here to open the site in a new tab and then click “Existing user login” which is located on the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 2 – Enter your username and password of your Access Counseling online account and then click “Log In”.
You should have logged in to your online account if you entered your details correctly. Note that you can click the “Keep me logged in” checkbox to enable your computer to remember your credentials the next time you visit the site. Uncheck the box if you are using a public or shared computer to prevent strangers from accessing your online account.
HOW TO RESET/FORGOTTEN PASSWORD
Step 1 – If you cannot remember the current password of your online account, click “Forgot Password?”
Step 2 – Enter the username associated with your online account and then click the “Submit” button.
You should receive a temporary password after a short while. Use the temporary sent to you to log in to your online account and then change it to a safer one.
HOW TO PAY YOUR BILL
Step 1 – Click “Start now” and follow the instructions on the next pages in order to make a payment online.
