Headquarters

At the moment, the headquarters of Comerica Bank are located in Comerica Bank Tower in Dallas Texas. The building is located in the Main Street District in the city’s downtown area.

The height of the building is 787 feet which makes it the city’s 3rd tallest building. In the state of Texas, it’s the 6th tallest while in the whole of the United States, it’s the 61st tallest building.

Construction of the building was completed in 1987 and it offers office space totaling 1.5m sq. ft.

When it was first completed, the building served as the head office of MCorp Bank. At that time, it was known as Momentum Place. The economic struggles in the late 80s made the building the subject of many legal wrangles. MCorp would collapse only a short while after the building was completed.

The building was chosen by Comerica as its corporate headquarters after it decided to move from its previous location in 2007.

The buildings first five floors house the banking hall which has a vaulted ceiling and a skylight. It also has underground parking which has 3 levels. It also has a number of retail spaces below the ground level due to the high pedestrian traffic.
