Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) is a public company and a subsidiary of Exelon which is currently the leading energy provider in the United States. The company not only provides natural gas and electricity in Baltimore but also provides its services to other parts surrounding central Maryland.
Customers can sign up to receive outage alerts, tips to save energy and report gas leaks. There is also a customer support center to assist customers.
HOW TO LOGIN
Step 1 – Click here to open the website in a new window and then click on “Sign in” button on the right side of the screen.
Step 2– Enter your username, your password and then click on “Sign in” button.
Make sure you enter your username and password so that you can access your account. RESET/FORGOTTEN PASSWORD
Step 1 – In case you forget your username don’t panic. Just click on “Forgot username” button located at the right side of your screen.
Step 2 – Enter your phone number, your last four digits of your social security number, BGE pin, or business tax ID, then click on “I’m not a robot” check box and finally click on “Continue” button on the right side of the screen.
Make sure you enter your details correctly to proceed to the next stage which is retrieving your username. You will also answer the security question that you created when registering your account.
Forgotten password
Step 1 – In case you forget your password click on “Forgot Password” button on the right side of your screen.
Step 2 – Enter your username or email address that you registered with, click on “I’m not a robot” check box and then click on “Continue” button located at the right side of your screen.
If you details are correct, you will proceed to the next stage which answering the security questions before you can change your password. You must answer the security questions correctly in order to change your password.
HOW TO PAY BILL
Step 1 – Click on “Pay Bill” button on the right side of the screen.
There are several payment methods to choose from. You can pay with a credit card, pay with a bank account, pay by mail, pay by phone or use BGEasy. Before you can pay a bill you must first sign in to your account. If you don’t have an account, create one before you can proceed further.
