Consumer Education Services (CESI) is a not-for-profit organization that offers financial education and solutions to individuals. CESI was founded in 1998 by Dr. Diane Chen. Initially, the headquarters of the company was based in Fayetteville, North Carolina before moving to its current location in Raleigh, NC. Since the inception of CESI, the company has assisted close to half a million individuals with financial education to help them settle their debt. Over seventy thousand people have successfully completed CESI’s debt management program and have managed to pay off their debt in full.

CESI offers a wide range of services from credit counseling to debt consolidation options. CESI is not a loan company. It offers debt management plans, bankruptcy counseling, housing counseling, student loan counseling, financial education, and credit counseling. Some services like credit counseling are offered free of charge while in others such as a debt management plan, CESI charges a small fee so as to ensure smooth operation of the company.
CESI has partnered with a number of community organizations to offer free education sessions to those in need of financial literacy. The education sessions are offered by community educators who have undergone thorough training. Examples of organizations that have partnered with CESI are eHome America, CAARE Inc., Jumpstart Coalition, etc.
HOW TO LOGIN
If you are a client of Consumer Education Services, you can access your account information by simply following the steps below:
Step 1 – Click here to open the website in a new tab and then click on the “Client Login” button which is located on the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 2 – Enter the email address and password you provided during registration and then click on the “Login” button.
You should be able to log in to your account if the email address and password are associated with your online account.
HOW TO RESET/FORGOTTEN PASSWORD
At times, one can forget his/her password due to involvement in many things. You shouldn’t worry about your lost password because CESI can help you retrieve it. In order to reset your password in case you cannot remember it, the steps below will show you how to reset the password:
Step 1 – Click the “Forgot Password?” link which is located below the “Login” button.
Step 2 – Enter the email address that you provided when registering for a Consumer online account and then click the “Send email” button.
You should receive an email containing instructions on how to reset the password within a few minutes. Check your email and follow the instructions sent to change the password. In case you haven’t received an email, first confirm whether you entered the email address correctly before dialing 866-297-1863 to get further assistance.
HOW TO SUBMIT PAYMENT
Step 1 – Click on the “Client Login” button which is located on the upper-right corner of the screen. You will require an email address and password to log in to your account so that you can submit payment.
Note that in order to submit payment, you need to enroll in some of the programs offered by CESI such as a debt management plan and bankruptcy courses.
