Yesterday, I took all the documents I needed to Community Bank (ESL) to close my mother’s checking and savings accounts. I had all the proper documentation to do this, but I was told her account doesn’t exist because the bank changing from ESL to CB. In other words, that money is gone, and we have no idea what to do, that isn’t an answer and I need answers on this because I can’t be the only person this has happened to. It’s not okay that they take that money!

Can I pay my Elmira Savings Bank loan payment on line? I don’t have a checking or savings account with ESB. I thought I signed up for it. I have a username and password, but all I can see is my balance and payments. I can’t find a way to pay from my checking account with another bank.
