The Metropolitan District (MDC) is a non-profit municipal corporation and was created in 1929 by the General Assembly. The corporation provides potable water and sewer services to people and businesses in Hartford. MDC began its operations in 1930 and was responsible for supplying 9.5 billion gallons from its reservoirs. The headquarters of MDC is situated in Hartford, Connecticut. The Metropolitan District began household waste collection program in 1992 to provide residents with safe ways to dispose hazardous waste. MDC initiated the Radio Frequency program to improve customer service. This program helps the corporation to read meters accurately without the need to visit homes of customers. MDC maintains a number of recreational areas such as lakes and reservoirs. The corporation manages and protects its watershed lands and other natural resources while still making those areas available for recreation activities. Step 1 – if you do not remember your password or your username click “Forgot your User Name/Password?” to retrieve your credentials.
Step 2 – Enter your user name, your email address, your account number, the validation code and then click “Continue” button.

Step 3 – Enter your first name and last name, your email address, your account number, the validation code and then click “Submit” button.
Make sure your details are correct in order to retrieve your credentials. If you cannot read the characters for validation you can click on the refresh button to get a new code. You can also play the code and listen.
HOW TO PAY YOUR BILL
Step 1 – Click “HOW TO PAY YOUR BILL” located on the upper-right side of the screen to make payments.
There are various methods you can use to pay your bill. You can pay with a credit/debit card, pay by mail, pay by mail, pay in person, enroll for make one-time payment or use drop box. Check the fees charged in each payment method to avoid inconveniences.
