Nicor Gas Company is committed to providing safe and reliable natural gas to residents in Illinois. The company stores and transports gas for nearly 129,000 industrial and commercial customers. This makes it the largest distributor of natural gas in northern Illinois. Nicor Gas owns and maintains more than 34,000 miles of pipelines and gas mains. The company purchases gas when it’s cheaper especially during summer months, stores and then sells throughout the year. This strategy has helped the Nicor Gas to keep natural gas prices low during winter.

HOW TO RESET/FORGOTTEN PASSWORD
To retrieve your User ID or reset your password. Follow these steps:
Step 1 – If you do not remember either your User ID or your password, click “Forgot User ID and Password” on the right side of the screen. (You will be redirected to a new page where you will retrieve your credentials).
Step 2 – If you have forgotten your User ID, enter the email address associated with your online account and then click on “Request User ID” button.

You will receive an email with instructions on how to change your password and also your forgotten password. Make sure you user ID and email address are correct to avoid troubles.
HOW TO PAY YOUR BILL
Step 1 – Click “Pay Your Bill” located on the bottom-left of the screen to make payments.
Note that you should select either residential or business before paying your bill. Nicor Gas offers a variety of bill payment options to choose from. You can pay your bill by mail, by phone, in person, use AutoPay or pay online. You must be logged in to your account to use some of the bill payment options.
