San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG%E) is a public utility that offers electric and natural gas services in southwestern California and San Diego County. SDG&E was established in the year 1881 by five San Diegans to provide natural gas for street lights. At that time, SDG&E had only eighty-nine gas customers and had zero electric customers. Since the establishment of SDG&E, it has continuously grown through expansion of power facilities to meet the high demand for gas and electric services. HOW TO RESET/FORGOTTEN PASSWORD
Step 1 – If you do not remember either your username or password click “Forgot Username/Password?”
Step 2 – Click “Retrieve Your User ID” if you have forgotten your user ID.
Step 3 – Enter the email address associated with your SDG&E account and then click “Next”.
Step 2 – If you can’t remember the current password for your account click “Reset Password”
Step 3 – Enter both your user ID and email address and then click on the “Next” button.

Step 2 – Click “Retrieve your user ID and reset password” if you can’t remember both your user ID and the current password for your account.
Step 3 – Enter the primary email address that you used during registration of your SDG&E account and then click the “Next” button.
Follow the instructions on the next pages you are redirected to either retrieve your user ID or resetting your password.
HOW TO PAY YOUR BILL
Step 1 – Click “Pay My Bill” to pay your bill.
You will have to log in to your account if planning on paying your bill online. There are other payment methods to choose from. You can pay by phone or pay in person. In case you need more time to pay your bill, contact the customer service before the deadline is due.
